Warren's price per square foot has nearly flattened, and the twelve month index is up just 1.5 percent

The Warren Housing Index reads 221.7 for the twelve months to August 20, up 1.5 percent. Price per square foot is down 0.9 percent year to date while median price is up 4.9 percent.

The FBI is offering $25,000 in a Warren Township disappearance that turns 20 years old in October

Margaret Haddican-McEnroe was 48 and was last seen in Warren Township on October 10, 2006. The FBI Newark Field Office has renewed its appeal and is offering a reward of up to $25,000.

Nineteen residents turned out at Codington Farmstead on August 1 to move rocks, fill holes and improve trail markers. Public Works has three people assigned to trails, and one or two are retiring soon.

The New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission certified Warren after the Committee adopted Ordinance 26-20. Permits go through the Township Clerk with at least four business days notice.

Warren introduced a $1,140,160 trail ordinance and pushed the third quarter tax deadline to August 24

Ordinance 26-22 appropriates $1,140,160 for the Dealaman Nature Trail and Pond, half of it a state grant. Resolution 2026-200 moved the tax grace period because the county tax board certified the rate late.

The July 4 storms left 295 Warren properties without power three days later

Statewide outages peaked near 249,000 customers. Warren was still reporting roughly 295 properties out on July 7, and the township cancelled its World Cup watch party on July 6 to keep working on recovery.

Warren won a $570,080 state grant for the Dealaman trail and pond, and the match comes out of the open space trust

The NJDEP and Garden State Preservation Trust approved Green Acres Project 1820-26-009 by letter dated June 2. Total project cost is $1,140,160, split evenly between the state grant and the township trust fund.

Warren committed $1.78 million to trucks, a generator and one road in a single meeting

Two bond ordinances and one contract award on June 18 totaled $1,779,423. Eleven contractors bid on Mountainview Road Phase II, and Riverview Paving won it at $509,423.
