Ordinances 26-07 through 26-11 create AH-9, AH-10, AH-11 and AH-12 with caps of 176, 69, 115 and 64 units and set asides from 25 to 31 percent. Six ordinances passed on unanimous 4-0 roll calls.

On February 11 the Planning Board approved an amended site plan for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York at the former Chubb headquarters. The main building drops to about 250,900 square feet and the law enforcement building to 2,454.

The February 22 to 23 blizzard put 17.0 inches on Warren by Monday morning. Green Brook led Somerset County at 18.5. State Police extended travel restrictions to noon Monday and the county closed offices, libraries and senior centers.

The Township Committee introduced eight ordinances on February 19, six of them affordable housing measures creating the AH-9 through AH-12 districts. All eight are up for public hearing March 12.

With Town Hall closed by the February 8 pipe break, Resolution 2026-087 extended the first quarter grace period to February 13. The same night the Committee paid $12.6 million in bills and ratified an emergency sewer contract.

A sprinkler pipe broke at Warren Town Hall on Sunday, and the building is closed until further notice

A sprinkler system pipe failed at 46 Mountain Boulevard on February 8, 2026. The water was off within 20 minutes, but the damage closed Town Hall indefinitely. Police and Municipal Court are unaffected.
