Sophomore Lucas Sheehan threw a complete game three hit shutout across all eight innings as second seeded Watchung Hills beat top seeded Immaculata at TD Bank Ballpark on May 22.

Watchung Hills cut Warren's school tax rate 3.52 percent and the average bill still went up $58
The regional board approved a $51,502,743 budget on April 28. Warren's rate falls from $0.3597 to $0.3470 per $100, but the average assessed home rose 5.38 percent, so the bill rises $58.22.

Warren's K-8 district put a $53.2 million tax levy in its tentative budget, and enrollment is up 42 students
The tentative 2026-2027 budget totals $68,583,554 across all funds, with a General Fund tax levy of $53,179,465. Advertised October enrollment is 1,734, up from 1,692. The public hearing is April 27.

Warren voters approved an $8.5 million school project 822 to 424
The March 11, 2025 special school election passed with 822 yes votes to 424 no. The project draws $3.4 million in state funding and the district projects no increase over what taxpayers already pay. Total turnout was 1,246 votes.
