The short answer

Warren Town Hall moves to summer hours Monday June 15 through Friday September 4, 2026: Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Offices remain at the temporary location, 3 Mountainview Road. Warrenbrook Pool at 500 Warrenville Road opens for the season Friday June 19, daily noon to 6 p.m. The same day the township hosts a free USA versus Australia FIFA World Cup watch party at the Municipal Complex starting at noon, with the match at 3 p.m. The Summer Concert Series runs Wednesday nights through July. Summer camp runs June 29 to July 31.

Here is the practical summer calendar, with the hours and addresses you actually need.

## Township hours

Summer hours run **Monday June 15 through Friday September 4, 2026**.

- Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Two exceptions. The week of **June 29 to July 2** runs normal hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. And offices are **closed Friday July 3** for Independence Day.

Offices are still at the temporary location, **3 Mountainview Road**, following the February 8 sprinkler pipe break at Town Hall. Mayor Shaun Fine reported on May 14 that materials had been selected and renovations were expected to begin shortly. Mail continues to go to 46 Mountain Boulevard.

## Well water testing

Testing kits were available for pickup at the temporary Town Hall **June 8 through 12**, with samples returned **June 15** at 46 Mountain Boulevard.

Update, June 18: Committeeman Daniel McCarey reported the program was highly successful and thanked Raritan Headwaters, the watershed organization that runs the testing. The cost is described in the record only as a reasonable cost, and I could not confirm the figure.

If you are on a well in Warren, this is an annual program worth watching for next year.

## Warrenbrook Pool

Warrenbrook Pool

500 Warrenville Road, Warren. Opens for the 2026 season **Friday June 19**, running daily noon to 6:00 p.m. This is a Somerset County Park Commission facility, not a township one, so passes and rules come from the county rather than Warren Recreation. Pass pricing is not something I could verify, so check the Park Commission directly before you go.

## The World Cup watch party

Also June 19, the township hosts a **free USA versus Australia FIFA World Cup watch party at the Municipal Complex**. Doors at 12:00 p.m., match at 3:00 p.m., with food trucks, games, activities and shuttle service from off site parking. It was organized with the Somerset County Business Partnership and the Red Bulls.

A municipal parking lot with a big screen and shuttle buses is not something Warren does most years. The 2026 tournament being played partly at MetLife Stadium is the reason.

## Recreation through the summer

Update, June 18: Committeeman McCarey reported the season's recreation calendar to the Committee that night.

- **Summer camp** begins at the end of June. The dates on the record from February are **June 29 to July 31**.
- **The Summer Concert Series** runs Wednesdays throughout July, with Thursday rain dates. Committeeman Lance Blick's band **RadioCon** plays **July 22**.
- **A car show** is planned for late August.

Two enforcement notes from the same report. The **Pop Warner field is permit only**. And McCarey reported increased vandalism at the **Lions Pavilion**, prompting heightened monitoring and enforcement.

I could not verify the full concert lineup beyond RadioCon, or summer camp fees.

## What already happened this spring

**Memorial Day, Monday May 25.** The parade stepped off at 11:00 a.m. from Washington Valley Road behind Pheasant Run Plaza, continuing along Mount Bethel Road and Mountain Boulevard to the Municipal Center, where a ceremony was held. A free picnic followed at **Warren American Legion Post 293, 12 Community Place**. The grand marshal, keynote speaker, attendance and honorees are not in the sources I could reach.

**Restaurant Weeks, June 12 to 26.** Townwide, with a kickoff at Uproot on June 12 and a restaurant passport stamp program.

**Disaster Preparedness for Seniors, June 4.**

## The 250th anniversary thread

Mayor Fine has tied this year's observances to the nation's 250th anniversary. Three specifics are on the record.

A partnership with Victory Town to commemorate the Continental Army's march from Yorktown and Warren's role in it. A student reading of the Declaration of Independence at Town Hall planned for **July 8**. And a commemorative time capsule.

July 8 is the historically correct date for a Declaration reading. The first public reading was July 8, 1776, two days after the document was printed.

## The short version, by date
